LONDON, July 7 -- The government of the United Kingdom issued the following news:
Mrs Geraldine McCafferty has been appointed His Majesty's Ambassador to United Arab Emirates in succession to Mr Edward Hobart CMG, who will be leaving the Diplomatic Service.
Mrs McCafferty will take up her appointment during August 2026.
