LONDON, Feb. 26 -- The government of the United Kingdom issued the following news:
Ministers have today (Thursday 26 February) confirmed that Dr Ros Rivaz has been appointed as the new Chair of Companies House. She will begin the role on 1 March,succeedingJohn Clarke who hasbeen in postsince March 2023.
Dr Rivaz brings extensive leadership experience across the public and private sectors.Shecurrentlyholds board positions at several organisationsincludingAnglian Water Services and Group,the chemicals companyVictrexplc and specialised steel company Aperam SA. She has previously held a range of other board roles including serving as Chair of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
Her career spanningsenior roles in technology, digital transformation and corporate governancewill providesvaluableexpertisethat willbenefitCompanies House as it continues its transformation.
Supported by CEO Andy King and the ministerial team at the Department for Business and Trade, shewill lead the Companies House Board as the organisation continues todrive forward the Government's transparency agenda.
