Victims injured in this attack can apply to theCriminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA)for compensation.
Compensation is payable to applicants who meet the eligibility criteria of theCriminal Injuries Compensation Scheme 2012.
You do not need a paid representative, such as a solicitor or claims management company, to apply for compensation. Free independent advice may be available from theVictim and Witness Informationwebsite or other charitable organisations.
