LONDON, Sept. 30 -- The government of the United Kingdom issued the following news:

The Adjudicator and designated retailers' Code Compliance Officers explained that suppliers can resolve issues by raising them, which also improves wider Code compliance.

Suppliers can raise issues with retailers or the GCA, with safeguards in place to protect confidentiality and ensure they do not face negative consequences for doing so.

You can learn more about those safeguards and findCCO contact details on the GCA website.

The conference also included a discussion about how the Code and the GCA support fair treatment of suppliers, including through the GCA's focus on delay in payments, forecasting, De-listing and CPI negotiations, and about the Adjudicator's engagement with the retailers on these issues.

YouGov provided insights on the experiences reported by suppliers in the 2026 GCA annual survey and deep dive interviews. Download the YouGov presentation slides (https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/6ab54e4a8cb3c0580e5011b2/2026_GCA_conference_slide_deck.pdf) (PDF, 1.04 MB, 32 pages).
