The Food Standards Agency's (FSA) website has today moved over to the GOV.UK platform. This will help to meet the evolving needs of our diverse user base, while also reducing costs, enhancing security, and improving the efficiency of our online content.
This aligns with the government's ambition to create asingle,consistentexperience, enabling members of the publictoaccess multipleservicesallon oneplatform.
The majority ofcontent from our old website has been moved to our new online home.This means consumers and businesses can continue to find all the information they need,including our essential food safety guidance.
Diane Barlow, Chief Information Officer at the FSA, said:

The FSA'spreviouswebsite -www.food.gov.uk- is no longer in operation, but any users whoattemptto visit the old website will be automatically redirected to our GOV.UK pages.
The FSA continues to fulfil its role as an independent, non-ministerial department and regulator, working toprotect public healthand consumer interests in relation to food.
