Her third visit toBangladeshcomesat a pivotal time following the formation of Bangladesh's new elected government in February.It underscores the UK's commitment to deepeningcooperation in trade, economicdevelopment,higher education,aviationand defence.
During her visit, Baroness Winterton will hold meetings withsenior ministersand othergovernmentand militaryofficials, to discuss shared prioritiesformutually beneficialgrowthand reiterate the UK's commitment as a reliable and long-term economic partner for Bangladesh.
The Trade Envoy will also meet withbusiness leaders includingrepresentatives from UK companiesoperatingin Bangladesh,to explore avenues for increasing bilateraltrade andinvestment and strengthening commercialties.
