Industry: Construction work for communication lines and Foundation work

Description: The works package is located on Castlelaw hill which surrounds the firing range. Access to the works location will require sufficient off-road vehicles, trailers and trained personnel. The scope of works will be to: - - Isolation of the existing electrical supply to 6no Beacon mast. - Removal of all old beacon mast, flagpole and concrete bases from the 6no site location. - Supply and installation of new beacon mast and flagpole complete with newly formed concrete bases at 6no site location. The new beacons must work solely on renewable PV and wind energy, the installed system is to run on a wireless / RF communication from each mast to the site control unit housed within the Castlelaw control building. - Upgrades as required to the control unit to include the 6no new masts and also to provide LED light indicators for each when in operation. - Remediations to previously installed beacon mast 4A which will include the making good or replacement of the external cabling. - Handover inclusive of training on new equipment, O+M manuals, Drawings and final sign off from structural engineer.
