Industry: Site preparation and clearance work and Ground-stabilisation work
Description: Design of: - 1. Evaluation of existing slope stability and stabilisation solutions (netting and anchors); 2. Detailed methodology for tree felling along steep incline slopes, whilst maintaining slope stability; 3. Specification of both temporary and permanent slope stabilisation solutions; 4. Specification of both temporary and permanent surface water management solutions; 5. Temporary works (platforms and roads to allow timber extraction); 6. Ecology (surveys, watching brief; potential liaison with Nature Scotland); 7. Liaison with stakeholders (DIO, MOD, FLS; Argyll & Bute Council; SEPA) as required; 8. Provide ongoing Engineering support/overview during the construction phases; 9. Provide gateway reports at end of each design and construction phases; 10. Provide detailed completion report at end of the works with any further future recommendations.
