Description: This contract will be for the following works: Cpt 1: clear fell 3 ha of Sitka spruce plantation (55 years old) Cpt 2: thinning of a more open, mixed Scots pine/Sitka 3.2 ha plantation (30 years old). Around 1 ha of cpt 1 blew down in Storm Darragh. The North York Moors National Park Authority are facilitating the contract, which will be with the owners of Morra Head Farm, so I'd like to know a total cost for the harvesting work and what price you'll offer for the timber. The Authority are funding the replanting and the fencing and hop0efully the harvesting part will cover its own costs.
