Description: 24 Store Portsmouth Naval Base Roof & QI Remedials. All specifications and design works are to comply with The Building Regulations (with specific attention to part L), and with consideration of PCC conservation requirements, noting that the building is Grade II listed and within a conservation area. Listed building consent may be required and if applicable, should be received prior to commencement on site. From the findings of the initial roof survey report, prepare a detailed specification/scope of works with drawings if necessary to achieve a minimum life span of no less than 25 years for the repairs to the roof fabric, including detailing, flashings and associated rainwater goods. All design works are to comply with the requirements of the manufacturer. The scope of works shall include for removal and replacement and any waterproofing element that has been damaged by water ingress, back to a firm substrate if necessary. Finishes/substrates used are to match original materials, detailing and profiles.
